Internet Marketing Courses from WSI

At WSI UK we’ve gained invaluable online marketing experience by dealing with a diverse range of clients, each requiring a unique mix of internet marketing solutions for their products and/or services. Starting in November, 2009 we are launching a range on internet marketing courses offering an introduction into internet marketing and some of its elements. We’ll be sharing our knowledge, experience and expertise developed over a decade of delivering internet marketing solutions.

The first two courses will cover An Introduction To Internet Marketing and An Introduction to Social Media Marketing , confirmed venues are in Birmingham, Thame and Leeds, more locations and venues will be added to subject to demand.

An Introduction to Internet Marketing

The introduction to internet marketing course will cover a brief overview of each form of internet marketing including pay per click advertising (PPC), search engine optimisation (SEO), email marketing and web analytics. It will also touch on the benefits of optimised landing pages (for search engine optimisation or PPC advertising) and the advantages of using microsites.

The course has been designed to cater for businesses unaware of the online marketing landscape and want to find out more about the tools available. An Introduction to Social Media Management

Social media marketing is becoming a popular advertising vertical that many businesses are exploring in-house. At WSI believe it’s important to fully understand the potential benefits and risks of using social media before defining a social media strategy and a social media policy. Our Introduction to Social Media Marketing course focuses on the opportunities for increasing sales and customer reach, and developing online PR, branding and customer service. It also covers what not to do when using social media marketing and including advice on how to protect your brand online.

WSI Announced at their Excellence and Innovation Conference in Orlando that they are aiming to raise sufficient money from the WSI Network to build a new school.

“No one should go hungry in this day and age, especially children whose entire development and future potential depends on their health and nutrition. Every child deserves to have the essentials of clean water, health care and basic education. Our goal is to take the necessary steps to end child poverty – one child, one village at a time.”
